Jennifer A. Magruder, an Atlanta native, is a graduate of Kennesaw State University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Public Relations.
She received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from John Marshall School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia, graduating with Criminal Justice Honors in 2018. As a law student, Jennifer clerked for the Honorable Judge Barnes of the Georgia Court of Appeals. Jennifer then proceeded to intern at the Fulton County Metro Conflict Defender’s Office, where she defended felony cases under the Third Year Practice Act.
After being admitted to the Georgia Bar, she opened JAM Law, a private criminal defense, personal injury and immigration practice based in Atlanta.
Jennifer is a member of the American Bar Association, Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and Georgia Association of Women Lawyers.
